@47825: You are assuming there's enough of 'everything' for everyone. Pure socialism is just as boned as pure capitalism, as the Marxist model has proven and the American model is proving.

Pure socialism is the only way. The government is there to represent the people. Therefore if the government 'takes' your cows it's merely a sharing of resources amongst the people. Primary necessities of life should be available to everyone and therefore owned by everyone. This way all the resources will be fairly distributed amongst the people and people can get whatever they need (Their fair share that is).
Any other way is selfish and based on capitalism. Some things should not be capitalized.
